M ay 3, 2017. Today I received an e-mail I have been waiting for, for a very long time. My surgery has officially been booked for May 3rd. I am so nervous, but so thrilled that I will be getting my hip fixed soon. I will have a pre-op appointment with my physiotherapist David, to go over post surgery protocol and get my hip brace, cold therapy machine and compression socks. But first, off to Live Aqua Cancun for a well needed vacation.
